Boot Camp over for another year!
Thursday, 25th August 2011

Twenty three enterprising students and graduates recently completed four intensive days developing their business ideas at the annual Entrepreneurs Boot Camp held at Bishop Burton College.
Participants in the Boot Camp were drawn from the Graduate Entrepreneurship Project’s partnership of all 11 Yorkshire universities and all had one thing in common - a desire to find out as much as possible about running their own businesses. Boot Camp provides students and graduates with serious business ideas with a firm foundation of expertise and knowledge they can use in the future.
Boot Camp featured presentations from businesses including HMRC, solicitors, accountants and marketing experts, together with intensive one-to-one sessions and elevator pitching at the end of the camp. This year’s business ideas were incredibly diverse, from cupcakes and laundry services to social media consultancy and music tuition.
